Honda teases new Civic wagon concept for Europe, Acura NSX Concept to appear at Geneva

Honda has just revealed a teaser for its lineup of cars debuting at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. The newest debut will be a concept for the next generation Civic wagon, while the newly updated Acura NSX Concept will also have its first viewing in Geneva. Accompanying those two is the new Honda CR-V, which features the brand’s latest 1.6L i-DTEC diesel four-pot.

Check out more news on the Acura NSX.
Focusing on the Civic wagon concept, Honda sketched what appears to be a very sleek and modern design. Of course, knowing Honda, it’s reasonable to predict that the production model won’t separate too far from the concept.

Honda today revealed its 2013 Geneva Motor Show line-up with two new concept cars, and the CR-V featuring the new 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine.
Civic wagon concept model
The Civic wagon concept model provides strong cues for the exterior design of the final mass produced version. This new Civic derivative will further strengthen the Civic range.
Evolution of Honda NSX Concept
The new Honda NSX Concept, making its European debut, suggests a potential direction for the next-generation NSX’s interior design.
The exterior design stays remarkably true to the original concept styling, maintaining its low and wide stance with the dynamic and alluring proportions that are highlighted by clean, modern and simple surfacing, and edgy details that communicate supercar attitude and a high-tech feel.
CR-V 1.6i-DTEC
The CR-V will join the Civic in offering Honda’s new Earth Dreams Technology 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine. The CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC will be available in two-wheel drive, with manual transmission, providing an exceptional balance of performance and economy. The 1.6 i-DTEC diesel engine is the lightest engine in its class, helping the CR-V to deliver energetic performance, agile handling and low running costs for customers. The CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC will be available from Autumn 2013.
The Honda Press Conference will take place at 13:15hrs CET on Tuesday 5th March on the Honda stand (stand number 4250).
