Dubbed the Honda “S3700,” the custom sports car will feature a 3.7-liter V6 SOHC VTEC motor rather than the traditional four-cylinder powerplant that came standard on the S2000.

Performance Development has done a couple of S3700 projects in the past.
If the Pikes Peak race car is like HPD’s S3700 projects, then under the hood is the same 3.7-liter V6 found in the Acura TL which is good for 305 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque.
