Honda has presented the second model of its new mini-vehicle N Series
named the N BOX + (N BOX plus) in Japan. The new model is essentially a
more practical version of the N Box tall city car with added
functionality in the cargo area.
In
particular, the Plus model introduces the so-called "Universal Bridge"
system that includes a retractable aluminum slope to make it easier to
load and unload heavy items on wheels such as a small motorbike. When
not in use, the aluminum board can be neatly tucked away under the boot.
Another
bespoke feature of the N BOX + is the "Multi-space System" that
introduces three different sized boards that allow for a wide variety of
arrangements including several cargo modes and a bed mode.
Like
the regular N Box, the Plus model is offered with a 660cc
three-cylinder petrol engine in naturally aspirated and turbocharged
flavors linked to a CVT and front- or all-wheel drive versions.
Prices in Japan
start at 1,350,000 Yen (US$16,900 / €13,500) with Honda offering the N
Box + in three distinct models with visible styling differences
including the Base, 2-Tone Color Style and Custom.
