February 12, 2010 – The much awaited event this winter season is now here. Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics will have its opening ceremony tonight live from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Schedules are complete and time table for the sports events are prepared so get ready and be sure to watch it tonight.
The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics opening ceremony will start at 6:00 PM PST (9:00 PM ET) at BC Place, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This will mark the winter season in Canada ast the lightning of the Olympic cauldron takes place.
The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics live stream will be available in NBC channel (CTV in Canada) and other sports channels and networks. Online streaming will be also available in the internet.
There are about 55,000 visitors that are going to watch the opening ceremony tonight. The theme for this year’s Winter Olympic is “To Inspire the World”. The first event for the Winter Olympics is the ski jumping (individual competition), which will start at 10 a.m. PST today.
Governor General Michaelle Jean will be the one to formally start the Winter Olympics tonight with the participants, performers and audience.
