2016 Honda Civic Spied Testing Once Again

Next Gen Honda Civic caught testing.
2011 Honda AC-X Concept from which the next Honda Civic takes it's design cue's from.
The most revealing photos yet of the upcoming 2016 Honda Civic are here.
From the photos, we get a good sense for the car’s overall proportions, though most of the details are still covered up. For styling, it looks like Honda borrowed some cues from the 2011 AC-X Concept, including the raked rear window that almost gives it a fastback look.
The taillights are partially visible and appear to be mostly unchanged, though up front we can see new LED daytime running lights.

The new Civic will ride on an all-new scalable platform from Honda that will also eventually underpin the Accord and the CR-V. Rumor has it that the Civic is going global when the new model is released, with all production moving to the United States. If that happens, there is a greater likelihood that we will get more performance oriented versions here in North America.
