Honda CR-V facelift spied testing in Europe

Just looking at the roof and seeing the pana-style glass I would have to say that this will be the Euro version....

Front fascia carrying several updates

The 2016 Honda CR-V facelift has been spied for the first time undergoing testing in Europe.

So far we have seen the facelifted CR-V testing on U.S. soil but now our spies snapped pics of a prototype on the old continent. A large portion of the camouflage is on the front fascia so Honda is probably preparing a redesigned grille together with updated headlights and what appears to be a restyled bumper. The side profile will remain the same while at the back the changes seem to be less significant as only the central area of the bumper and the taillights will go through surgery.

We are not expecting any changes under the hood where the model will continue to be offered depending on the market with 148 bhp 2.0-liter i-VTEC and  185 bhp 2.4-liter DOHC gasoline engines as well as with 118 bhp 1.6-liter i-DTEC and 148 bhp 2.2-liter i-DTEC diesels.

The 2016 Honda CR-V facelift should be out by mid-2015 in both Euro- and US-spec versions.
