2011-2012 (beyond?!?) Next Generation Honda Civic; What do you want to see?

The buzz is starting to get louder as information starts to see the light of day on North America's Honda Civic redesign.

The latest news is "....Tanai ordered his engineers and designers to scrap their plans and redesign the next-gen Civic to be smaller, cheaper, lighter and more fuel efficient." Hmm. Smaller. How much smaller do they mean? I think it's the right size already, but, what do I know.

Here's a chance for you to speak your mind by adding a comment towards what you think the Civic should change and add. The comments can be any information that you've heard to just dream ideas. Besides, who knows, maybe Honda's listening.

I'll Start Off;
-Bluetooth available in non-navi models (even if you have to add it as a installed accessory).
-XM Satellite radio in the same tune as above.
-Minimal increase in power, the 140hp is sufficient.
-Honda's gonna be deadly once they figure out that people (esp. us Canadians) love our heated seats, not just in leather!
-Integrate the adjustable headrests in the back seat to increase visability without having to remove the headrests.
-Keep the front end aerodynamic slope but add a Hood Edge Deflector option that is large enough for people to see where the front end is.

I would like to be able to see the front end, heated seats would be nice, everyone else has them it seems.

Hopefully new Civic will have:

1.) significantly less Road Noise.
2.) USB interface on LX sedan models.

Hope it looks better. Smaller. Definitely smaller. Maybe the Accord could lose some pounds in the next iteration as well. Unfortunately, I am not a big fan of the current generation of Honda products. The only reasonable looking vehicles are the Fit, CRV and Pilot. Supposedly the new Honda Japan CEO is into performance vehicles.

Where's the matrix/mazda3 equivalent in the Honda lineup? Thats a big gap in the lineup right now as well.

We have owned 3 honda/acura vehicles in our family over the last 15 years. If the current design trend for Acura and Honda continues, we are unlikely to buy a well built but ugly car.

Honda should think about one word when designing the new Civic - DRIVER. I want the new Civic to be exciting! I could do without some comfort and convenience features if the car was a blast to drive! And, please PLEASE give us a Hatchback in America!

Honda needs to take a long look at the 2012 Ford Focus and the 2011 Hyundai Elantra. Both of those vehicles are offering AMAZING features wrapped up in a beautiful package.

Please get rid of those ugly interior door handles.

To have standard alloy wheels from the base model to make it look better those cheepo wheel covers just ruins the car.
