Honda has officially pulled the wraps off two new special editions of the CR-V, the Black Edition and the White Edition, which will go on sale exclusively in the United Kingdom.

Honda’s newest creation is basically a special edition, or better said two special editions, of the CR-V. The so-called CR-V White Edition and the CR-V Black Edition are both coming with the same mesh grille, with the body color skid plates, with the side running boards, with the tailgate mounted spoiler, the privacy glass, the chrome exhaust tips and also with a fresh set of 19-inch Orion style allow wheels.

As far as the interior changes in these two special editions of the CR-V go, these are actually limited and they include the GPS navigation system, the dual-zone climate control, the Bluetooth connectivity and some other small tweaks. The engine lineup available for the new Honda CR-V Black Edition and for the Honda CR-V White Edition includes the 2.0 liter i-VTEC with its 155 HP (114 kW) and the larger 2.2 liter i-DTEC, with its 150 HP (110 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. Prices for the two models start at 28,400 GBP.

Cars.uk: Honda CR-V Black Edition & White Edition launch

Two special editions of the Honda CR-V – the CR-V Black Edition and White Edition – have been launched in the UK with additional spec.

The new Honda CR-V – a sensible type of SUV for car buyers who don’t need a ‘lifestyle’ SUV – has been with us for more than a year, so a limited edition model is called for to keep up footfall in Honda’s showrooms.

That means Honda resorting to the tried and trusted route of monochrome specials with the CR-V Black Edition and CR-V White Edition with cosmetic tweaks for a bit more presence and extra kit for a bit more comfort.

Both the Black Edition and White Edition get 19″ Orion alloys, exhaust finisher and privacy glass, a new patterned grill, tailgate spoiler, running boards and skid plates front and back.

Specification is based on the CR-V SE-T so it gets a decent level of stuff including Climate, Bluetooth, parking sensors, power folding mirrors, metallic paint and SatNav.

Both the CR-V Black and White Editions can be had with either the 2.0 litre i-VTEC petrol or 2.2 litre i-DTEC diesel with manual or automatic gearbox with prices starting from £28,400 for the 2.0 i-VTEC with manual box.
