The all-new, tenth generation Honda Civic is simply mesmerizing as the
car is able to offer decent amount of power with great fuel economy
returns. We are referring to the Civic which runs on the newly developed
1.5L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. Apparently, the mill is able to
generate a whopping 174hp and 162ft-lbs of torque while also returning
an average 40mpg.
Now, there is actual proof that the new Civic is also faster and better
than the last generation Civic Si. The Civic Si is considered as the
second most powerful trim behind the Type-R and it got into speed test
comparison with the tenth generation Civic.
The test was conducted by Hondata and we were shocked to learn that the
new Civic is actually faster than the old Civic Si. You might find it
hard to believe but the video embedded below is able to tell it all. At
this rate, we can only wonder on how much more powerful the Civic Si
would be if Honda is to produce a tenth-generation successor.
