The company is keen to boost its profitability in Europe, particularly in the UK, where sales have halved over the last three years. And a new crossover to sit between the Civic and the CR-V is seen as key to its chances of doing so.
The as-yet-unnamed car will be based on a tweaked version of the new Civic’s platform, and go on sale next year. And our illustrations show how it’s likely to look.

I can't wait to see this new car; knowing Honda I'm sure it will be spectacular.
To me it looks awfull, to much plastic like the Civic sinds 2006. Honda should put a chrome grill on it and some real headlights and the duck tail should go as soon as possible. I drive Honda's sinds 1975 and i'm waiting for a good looking new Civic but allas, the one from 2012 is a seriously ugly car.
