It's been no secret that Honda has plans of building a new Hybrid vehicle from scratch, so this won't be based on anything that is out there right now (although I could see it using the FIT's platform). This vehicle will be smaller than both the Civic and the Prius and will use a updated version of the IMA (Integrated Motor Assist) that kicks in and out to help acceleration.Honda is targeting a lower price point for this model, to come in well below the current Prius and the Civic Hybrid.
